Derby Phoenix, led by dedicated volunteers since 1959, is a welcoming and friendly swimming club.
They train swimmers of all abilities to attain high standards, achieve their competitive goals and maintain healthy lifestyles in a caring, fun environment. Derby Phoenix supports its members through an exciting programme of team galas, open meets, County and Regional championships. Swimmers have the opportunity to progress to train with and swim for Derbyshire’s elite squad – Derventio Excel.
The Club caters for a wide range of abilities and will match your needs by providing expert coaching. In all instances, new members are welcomed on a trial basis and advised on a suitable progression path. We run a transition squad to introduce children to club swimming and all its exciting opportunities.
